ABOUT US

New Life in Christ Fellowship Church (NLICFC) was birthed in April 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2012, God spoke to Pastor Moore while studying the name, “New Life”. As he continued to faithfully serve at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Canaan Christian Fellowship Church and then later at St. Stephens AMEC, the Lord brought back to his remembrance “New Life”. During a time of prayer and fasting the Lord confirmed to Pastor Moore that this was the time to birth “New Life”.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic, NLICFC was officially introduced with Bible Study on our social media platforms on April 1, 2020. God was calling us to continue building a spiritual foundation of ministry with worship, teaching and prayer. NLICFC expand to virtual experience with Sunday Word and Prayer Worship Service that is currently broadcast virtually on Zoom and FB Live. Then God led us to develop our Small Groups Classes with adding Explore Sunday School and our Equip Discipleship Class. The Lord spoke to our hearts about the spiritual well-being of men and women.

After seeking the Lord in prayer, we knew the Lord was calling us to begin ministries for men and women. Once a month Iron Sharpen Iron Men’s Ministry and our W.O.W – Women of Worth Women’s Ministry meet to focus on specific areas relating to men and women for their spiritual growth.

We believe God has called us to begin a new work in ministry in the Glen Burnie/Odenton Anne Arundel County area. We have seen God’s hand already at work in our efforts and believe He is going to provide for our every need.

By faith, we are trusting God as we take this walk of faith. We are excited to see new things God has in stored for us on the other side of this COVID-19 pandemic as we continue to expand and seek Him for a permanent building/space for worship, teaching and prayer.

The mission of New Life in Christ Fellowship Church, NLICFC, is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as we love, teach, equip, and encourage believers to impact the world! As God’s called-out we will maintain worship that glorifies Him.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind (Mt 22:37)

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace (1 Pe.4:10)

FELLOWSHIP

Not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near (Heb.10:25); Because we are members of  body (Eph.5:30)

Go therefore (Mt.28:19); And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, (Mt. 24:14)

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Believe

OUR DOCTRINAL STATEMENT

GOD

We believe in one God-eternal who created and sustains all things. He alone is Holy, all-powerful, all-knowing, and always present; existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Spirit, one in nature, attributes, power, and glory.

(Genesis 1:1; Matthew 28:19; Mark 12:29; John 1:1; Acts 5:3-4)

JESUS CHRIST

We believe in Jesus Christ the Son of God and His virgin birth. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, as the representative and substitutionary sacrifice and rose again for our justification. We also believe in His bodily resurrection and ascension into heaven, His present position of High Priest making intercessions for us, His bodily and visibly return to the earth at the end of the tribulation to establish His millennial kingdom and to reign as Lord over all nations.

(Luke 1:34-35Matthew 16:13-16; Hebrews 10:11-14; I Corinthians 15:3-8; Acts 1:8-9; Hebrews 4:14; Romans

8:34; Revelation 20:36)

THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine Person, equal in nature with God the Father and God the Son. The Spirit had an active role in creation and in the inspiration of the Scriptures. He convicts sinners, guides humans into truth, and regenerates believers to new life. The Spirit gives gifts to the body of Christ for ministry. The maturing of faith, the producing of fruit, is all the work of the Spirit. (Psalm 139:7-12; John 14:16,17; 16:13,14; 1 Corinthians 12:8-10; 28-20; Galatians 5:22-23; Hebrews 2:3,4)

THE HOLY SCRIPTURES

We believe that God has revealed Himself truthfully to humans through the inspired texts of the Scriptures. The Bible, is inerrant and has authority over the church and the Christian's life and thought.

(1 Timothy 3:16,17; 2 Corinthians 2:10-14; 2 Peter 1:19-21)

SALVATION

We believe that salvation is obtained by a personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ apart from human merit and that all who believe in Him are declared righteous on the ground of His shed blood. Those who place their faith in Jesus are eternally saved because of the securing work of the Father (Ephesians 1:5), the Son (John 10:28-29), and the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:30)

(Ephesians 2:8-9; Acts 4:12; 1Peter 1:18-20)
